The Rectangle drawing tool allows you to place rectangles on the screen. Rectangles like Lines are helpful in separating a screen into logical divisions. The Rectangle tool can also be activated from the toolbar with the 
button. After you finish selecting your drawing area the rectangle is painted with the default line width and colors. The line width can be adjusted with the line style. The border will be painted in the foreground color and the inside of the rectangle in the background color. Line width and colors can be changed at any time with the Format menu.
