The Text tool allows you to place static text on the screen. Static text is useful in describing data items placed on the screen. The Text tool can also be activated from the toolbar with the 
button. After you finish selecting your drawing area the specific dialog for the text tool pops up:
This dialog allows you to enter the text you want to display. The text object recognizes the Font, Color and Text formats. You can change these attributes with the Format menu. To change the text simply double-click on the text object and the Text dialog will pop up and allow you to edit the text.
